The Burren is a place where there is basically no ground, just rock. Very odd. The ground looked very similar to a close up of the ground on Aran Islands and in Doolin.
The ground is more like rock than anything else, There is a saying about the Burren:
“Where there are no trees to hang a man. Where there is not enough water to drown him. And if you finally succeeded in killing him, it's too rocky to bury him.”
This landscape goes on for a number of miles and ends at the ocean
